Quick Overview

Overview:

A compact, beautifully illustrated guide that helps every participant follow along, understand, and truly experience the significance of the Torah reading and the Ten Commandments.

Why We Made This:

Shavuos often brings a larger crowd than usual — many of whom want to be present in the moment but don't know where to begin. This guide was created specifically for them.

With trilingual text, vivid illustrations, and thoughtfully written commentary, it removes the overwhelm and invites every reader into the experience.

What's Inside

  • A clear explanation of the meaning of Shavuos and the giving of the Torah, with engaging "Did You Know?" facts throughout the guide.

  • The full Torah reading in both Hebrew and English, with insightful commentary.

  • The Ten Commandments in trilingual format (Hebrew, Transliteration & English) with beautiful illustrations.

  • A meaningful look at the Haftorah — explaining why we read it on Shavuos, with thoughtful commentary.

  • Full text of the Haftorah, Vayehi Binsoa Haaron, and Torah blessings before and after the reading (added in 5783)

Updates for Shavuos 5786:

The 5786 edition includes the same full Shavuos Guide content as the 5783 version, including the Torah reading, Aseres Hadibros, explanations, illustrations, and easy-to-follow layout.

Based on feedback from fellow shluchim, a few wording, nekudos, and nusach details were refined in the 5786 edition, including updates to Brich Shmei, Ribono Shel Olam, and the Haftorah brachos to better align with Chabad Nusach.

The 5783 edition remains a complete and beautiful guide, with the same core content and features.

Since then, it has been carefully revised, expanded, and refined multiple times based on feedback from shluchim in the field.

All COVID-related references have been removed, and meaningful additions have been made.
